7 days of No Poo

So it has been 7 days since I first started the "No Poo" method. I haven't washed my hair again since then either. My hair is surprisingly really nice. It smells good, and it feels so thick.
7 days in!
About 3 days in, which is when I would normally wash my hair, I noticed my hair to have knots in it. I made a huge decision to comb my hair with a wide tooth comb. I never ever comb my hair when its dry because it makes my hair super puffy and frizzy. Since I knew I wasn't going out anywhere I figured I would take the chance. It did exactly what I expected it to do, puffy and frizzy. Combing it I spread out all of the oils in my hair evenly then I put it in a bun for a couple of hours. When I took it down... my hair looked so pretty! No more puff and frizz, but beautiful laying curls. The oils in my hair were not noticeable, my hair just looked really healthy.
Today I tried combing my hair again. After being in the bun for a few hours it still stayed a little puffy.
I think I will wash it soon since combing it out didn't make the oils on the top of my head disappear so well.
Today is my 30th comic! I had to do it about the "No Poo" Method! Enjoy!

No 'Poo!

Hey guys, don't worry "No 'Poo" means to stop using shampoo!I have decided to use the no 'poo method. I started on May 15th using baking soda and vinegar to wash my hair.
For a while I was using just baking soda mixed into my regular shampoo. When doing that my hair always turned out fabulous! Always smooth and super clean. I stopped that though, I don't know why. Normally I wash my hair between 3-5 days. I know, sounds gross. But if I do it any sooner than that my hair gets really dry and frizzy. I am hoping that by using this method I can go even longer between washes.
It has been two days since I started and my hair feels thicker, even though it is normally thick. My curls look so pretty even after its been in pony tails, and buns, and slept in. I have been out in the wet humid air (not for too long though) and got sweaty and greasy from frying chicken wings.
Speaking of grease, after I did my first wash, I thought my hair felt pretty dry. I acted accordingly and put a little bit of olive oil in my hair. I also normally do this when I use shampoo.
I made some videos about the beginning of my progress. I still need to put them together and post it on youtube. I'll put it on my blog as soon as it's uploaded!

I'm back!

Wow, blogger is SO different now! A lot has changed since I last wrote on here. I moved out of my moms house, stopped taking care of my grama, and met the love of my life! I have started making daily web-comics about my life and will soon be expanding into making more comics and manga. I have my own actual website and I am now a freelancing graphic designer. I have really missed writing and have been wanting to get back into it. I wonder if I will find enough time in the day do this. I sure hope so! I have a lot I want to talk about. For now, this is it... considering it is nearly 4:30 in the morning. I have to work on my manga so I can get it released to you and then sleeeeeep... precious sleep. There was something else I wanted to add but totally forgot! HAHA!Oh yeah.
I can't wait to have a more "grown-up" look for my blog! What was I thinking what that font? Anyway, that will be coming soon I hope!

See ya soon!
